Infrastructure Shift is a technology consulting brand and a division of BizByteIT. We provide platform migration, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, virtualization, VoIP, disaster recovery and related consulting services. References to “Infrastructure Shift,” “we,” “us” or “our” in this policy refer to the operator of InfrastructureShift.com.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request an assessment, complete the Virtual CIO Maturity Assessment, download a resource, request information or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include your name, business email address, telephone number, company, industry, company size, project interests, assessment answers and message content.

Our server may also automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited and timestamps. This information may be recorded in standard server logs for security, troubleshooting and operational purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to respond to inquiries, provide requested reports or assessments, evaluate prospective projects, communicate about services, improve website performance, protect the website from abuse, maintain records, comply with legal obligations and support normal business operations.

When you submit the Virtual CIO Maturity Assessment, your answers may be used to generate a personalized score, category breakdown, recommendations and a downloadable report. Contact information and assessment results may be emailed to you and to Infrastructure Shift for follow-up.

4. Email Delivery and Mailgun

Website forms use Mailgun SMTP services to deliver contact requests, assessment results and related transactional messages. Information included in those messages is transmitted to Mailgun for email delivery and may be processed according to Mailgun’s own privacy and security practices. We do not use a visitor’s email address as the authenticated sender; it may be used as a Reply-To address so we can respond to the inquiry.

5. Cookies, Local Storage and Similar Technologies

The website uses necessary session technologies to support form security, CSRF protection and the on-site arithmetic CAPTCHA. The privacy notice records your acceptance in your browser’s local storage so the notice normally appears only once on that browser.

After you select “Accept,” the website may load optional third-party services, including Google Analytics, Google AdSense and the Retell AI virtual assistant. These services may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers or similar technologies to measure website activity, deliver or measure advertising, operate interactive features and improve service performance.

You can clear stored consent through your browser settings. You may also restrict or delete cookies through your browser, although doing so may affect certain website functions.

6. Google Analytics and Advertising

Google Analytics may collect information about website usage, including pages viewed, session activity, approximate location derived from an IP address, device information and referral sources. Google AdSense may process information to deliver, limit, personalize or measure advertising. These services are not loaded by our consent manager until you accept the website privacy notice.

7. Virtual Assistant

The website may offer a Retell AI-powered virtual assistant. If enabled after consent, information you enter or say through the assistant may be processed by Retell AI and related service providers to operate the interaction. Do not submit passwords, payment card information, protected health information, confidential client data or other highly sensitive information through the assistant.

8. On-Site CAPTCHA and Security

Our forms use a privacy-friendly arithmetic CAPTCHA generated on the website. It does not require a third-party CAPTCHA provider. We also use validation, honeypot fields, CSRF tokens, access controls and other reasonable measures intended to reduce spam and unauthorized access. No security control can guarantee absolute protection.

9. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the website and business, including hosting providers, email delivery providers, analytics providers, advertising providers and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, investigate misuse, protect safety or complete a business reorganization or transfer.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, manage prospective or active business relationships, maintain security and operational records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Assessment submissions may be stored in website storage files and email records. Retention periods vary based on the information and business purpose.

You may ask us to review, correct or delete personal information that you have provided, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security and recordkeeping requirements. You may opt out of non-transactional follow-up communications by using the instructions in the message or contacting us directly.

12. Children’s Privacy

This website and our consulting services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
